The NHCC Youth Group Webpage

The New Hope Christian Centre Youth Group would like to take this opportunity to give you a warm welcome to our web page. We hope you enjoy your stay on here. In the coming weeks we'll post pictures, and info: on news and events in our community, Church, and all over the world. - with some of the focus being on all-Christian events such as Acquire the Fire and Stand Up!. We also have a message board setup on the web page so please feel free to get a discussion going or join in on one. (The message board is also great for if you want to contact one of the members of the youth group; as we check it on a daily basis.)

As a youth group we wanted to find an outlet/place to have our voice heard. We wanted a place to stimulate interest in the fellowship of Christian youth and to be as a beacon; to spread God's Word. In producing the web page, making it as interactive as possible (message board, links, photo album, etc.) was something that was kept in mind - So that it wouldn't be the kind of web page you'd visit once in a while - No! We wanted it to be constantly new and refreshing.

If you live in the Southern-Ontario area, or anywhere for that matter, we invite you to come out to our Bible studies, parties, and other organized things we do. We'll post notices in the message boards regarding Bible studies, parties, activities, and events.

Just a little reminder ~~~~~~~~~~~
New Hope Christian Centre now has a mid-week service; Wednesdays @ 7pm.
And at that time, the Youth Group holds meetings and Bible studies.--

Hello everyone, this is Mike Precious here. I just want to quickly take the time to thank all those who have brought in pop-cans for the Youth Group missionary funds. By giving us your pop-cans, we crush them up, and are then sold to a processing company. Once again, we appreciate your help, and keep on bringin' them in!

Update: March 16, 2000 - -------
Hi everyone. Hope you're having a great March so far. I just have a couple of quick announcements. First, our indoor garage sale was a huge success; we raised over $340 from it! Once again, thank you very much to all who donated some time and items for the garage sale. Secondly, Pastor Karl DeVries and Keith Baker from New Hope Christian Centre will be embarking on a mission trip starting this Saturday. They will be travelling down to Haiti, to perform missionary work - Please pray for their safety and for spiritual strength.

Also, STAND UP! is approaching very quickly. It's on April 14-15 in Pontiac, Michigan at the Silverdome. It's a 2 day even gathering of spiritual growth. There'll be awesome bands like the Newsboys, According to John, and Shepperd Hall, and Jacqui Valesque.
